yawn...

The lecturers are striking today. I never cross a picket line, obv, so i've not even checked how this affects my classes, i'm just staying in and drinking. Fight the power! Workers of the world unite! etc.

The hunt for hash has been ongoing. The whole of west scotland appears to be dry. We soldier on however, with wine and beer, as best we can. Played 'fuzzy duck' for a good four hours last night - drinking games that involve remembering words are EXTRA EXTRA fun when one person speaks largely french. he he he.

Not a lot else going on at the moment. Need to speak to someone about their tendency to over-drink. I'm calling it over-drinking because we all drink alot, but she manages to drink a lot in one go. If you see what I mean.

Lucy the darling managed to make pizza (she made the base herself and everything) so I am campaigning for her to try again. It was lovely pizza first time round but there was a distinct biscuitness to the base which could be rectified by buying the right kind of flour. I think it needs to be done.

Right now I should be reading Great Expectations. I should also be researching a good three final essays. Ah well!

This year for english I have already managed to read:
Hamlet
Jane Eyre
Emma
The Yellow Wallpaper
The Turn of the Screw
The Homecoming
The Magic Toyshop
Much Ado About Nothing
The Great Gatsby.

I have yet to read:
The Importance of Being Ernest
The Human Stain
and probably a fuckload of poetry...

I think that hard work negates the need to go to english classes.
yes.
